    The environmental influence and resource waste resulted from the packaging materials are more and more emphasized at present. Aimed at the problem that the assessment of the packaging materials' environmental friendly character is difficult, the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology was introduced to define the goal and scope of LCA, to quantify many importance indexes and to analyze the collected data. And then the environmental friendly characters of these packaging materials were assessed qualitatively. Finally, the life cycle of the selected packaging material was analyzed as an example.

    Purchasing management is an important link between supplier and enterprise to operate in coordination. A Webbased purchasing management integrated model was introduced aiming at the deficiency of traditional purchasing management mode. The integrated model was created by analyzing the modern purchasing management mode and customerdriven purchasing operational process. The key methods of integrating purchasing management, product data management (PDM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) under the Web environment were discussed. Finally, the Webbased integrated purchasing management system was built, the system functions were analyzed and its key technologies were described, based on the proposed model.

    Smallsignal stability of power system is one of the preconditions for connecting large area electric power grids running in China. Based on the eigenanalysis method for multimachine electric power systems, the smallsignal stabilities (more emphases is given to lowfrequency oscillatory study) of the connected north China (including Shandong power network) and central China (including Sichuan and Chongqing power networks) power grids were studied using the Power System Analysis Software Package (PSASP). The analyses of oscillatory modeshapes for each lowfrequency oscillatory mode were put forward. The directional guidance was provided for installing and setting power system stabilizers.

    The graphic solution of canonical network parameters was introduced as a basic method. Generalized regression circle and numerical solution of canonical network fitting model were used to obtain their precise solution. With the selfmade CAT (computer aided test) system, an actual network was measured and the results were obtained. In contrast to the graphic solution, the numerical solution can be obtained vividly, rapidly and precisely under the CAT system.

    A clampdown traffic method is proposed to control the volume of QoS link state advertisement(LSA). The simulation results prove that by using the clampdown traffic method, the higher network utilization efficiency and lower rate of link failures can be obtained, comparing with the currently used clampdown time method for the same LSA. Furthermore, a new method utilization prediction is proposed based on the characteristic of clampdown traffic method. The results show that the clampdown traffic method gets more characteristic improvements than the clampdown timer method when using the utilization prediction.

    To most part of the actuators, their inputs are restricted. As a result, the control performance will be deteriorated or failed, if the controlling signals are input directedly into the contralled object. A new constrained adaptive inverse control scheme is proposed for a system which input is saturated. The main idea is that the saturator and the original plant are regarded as a new plant which is used to model the controller. A Lyapunov function is constructed to derive the new weights updating algorithm for controller and guarantee the stability of the control system which leads to the least influences of saturation. The simulations of a watertanker temperature control system show the effectiveness of the scheme and the robustness against input noises.

    Ultrasonic traveling wave microfluid driving technique is a new theory technique. Using ANSYS finite element software, the model of straight pipe shapewas given based on ultrasonic travellingwave driving microfluid. The model's inherent frequency and vibration model are obtained by the dynamics analysis. The relationship between structure parameters and frequency, and the relationship between frequency and voltage were discussed, which gave a way to understand the dynamics characteristic of straight pipe model. It is also of significance for the structure optimization design.

    An original optimal algorithm was developed for controlling the signal in isolated intersection. The time length of the next cycle was obtained by fuzzy reasoning, based on the effective prediction of the arriving vehicles in every direction and every line in the next cycle. The multiobjective optimal model was built to get the least time delay and the most traffic flow capacity. The objective function was optimized by sortingGA and the split of each phase was obtained. The time length was divided into each phase according to the split. So the optimal signal time assignment was completed. By the computer simulation, the result shows that the algorithm is effective.

    Combining matter element and extension method with flood damage intensity index and analytic hierarchy process, a comprehensive evaluation model of flood damage intensity is established. Using the model, flood damage intensity in Shandong province is quantitatively and synthetically evaluated. The result shows that the model not only improves quantitative level and definition but also makes flood damage intensity evaluation more comprehensive and embedded.

    The concept of effective asphault ratio by volume of aggregate was proposed by using the volume features, such as voids ratio of the compacted hot mixed asphault(HMA) mixtures, voids ratio in mineral aggregate, and etc., and by considering the asphault absorption of aggregate. According to the optimum effective asphalt ratio by volume of aggregate, the relationship of the optimum asphalt ratios between the similar gradations by weight of aggregate was analysed. A widespread meaning formula was developed. At the same time, the established formula was compared with the estimate formula presented in the new “Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements”. The analysis indicates that this formula has more extensive applicability.

    All weak paths in multilevel electromagnetic shielding system, which has several radiate points and single defending aim, were found by using the electromagnetic shielding model which has single radiate point and single defending aim. All weak paths were restored aiming to use materials as little as possible. The optimization restoration model was presented. The solving process of this model was simplified by using the combining characteristic of graph, which reduced the number of variable in model. The principle of material economized optimization restoration was presented, and the simulation experiment of this model was given at last.

    By combining ambiguity domain with support vector machine(SVM), a new method of fault diagnosis was presented. The proposed method used the local energy in ambiguity domain as a feature vector to input the SVM classifier to identify faults. The local information of signal can be fully reflected by using ambiguity domain distribution. Compared with the feature extracted from the timefrequency plane, the dimensions of feature vector can be greatly reduced. The recognition results are analyzed for different kernel functions. The experiment results show that the best classify efficiency can be obtained without any kernel function in ambiguity domain.
