Image denoising based on the double-Haar wavelet

Abstract: To realize  image denoising in the  wavelet domain is a lively research field in  signal processing .The double Haar wavelet proposed recently can make image denoising more efficient. Based on the double Haar wavelet transformation, an improved method is proposed to realize the noise smoothing and the details protection in review of the partial statistic features of the Lee filter and  high frequency containing  many edges and details of the image . Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can produce  better denoising results than the soft thresholding proposed by Donoho.
