Modified primaldual logarithmicbarrier method for optimal power flow problem

Abstract: Based on the primaldual logarithmicbarrier method, a novel method for optimal power flow problem is presented in this paper. The barrier function is improved in the modified primaldual logarithmicbarrier method which solves the constrained optimization problem and avoids the identification problem to the active constraints boundary. The simulation results of reactive power optimization for IEEE 30bus system demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
