Energy comparison-based TOA estimation algorithm for the DS-CDMA UWB system

Abstract: An energy comparisonbased TOA estimation algorithm for the DSCDMA UWB system is proposed, whose energy threshold value is determined by a normalized value and minimum and maximum energy samples. The selfadaptively selected normalized value can produce the minimal error of TOA estimation with a different signal to noise ratio (SNR). Simulation results show that this method is feasible.
