Online monitoring and diagnostic system for boiler combustion

Abstract: A new airvelocity measuring unit named KBX3 backtoback type is designed to adapt to the local formidable conditions of the power plant. Its velocity coefficient is stable, and wearresisting property is high. Based on JBuilder software and Fieldbus Technology, this system could monitor and save parameters at all times, such as primary and secondary air velocities, coalair concentration and pulverized coalair temperature. It could realize the inquiry of past records, analyzing trend curve, detecting failures and alarming. These functions are the basis for adjusting operation, diagnosing and air distribution of boiler. Thereby it could increase the safety, stability and economicality in boiler operation significantly, and the optimal operation can be achieved for the combustion of boiler's chamber.
