Research about urban traffic evaluation system based on VB and FTA

Abstract: This paper dissertated the basic theory of FTA and its analysis process and introduced FTA according to the practical problems of the urban traffic．It carried on the classification and research to the accident cause factors taking back car from knocking down front one as the example．It completed the evaluation system about the urban traffic and focused on the development process and function of qualitative analysis，quantitative analysis，intelligent evaluation，etc． The benefits and the prospect of the system were necessarily analyzed and the research result can promote the intelligentization and visualization of traffic management．
