A dynamic prioritization method for supplemental test cases

Abstract: The test case prioritization is an effective technique of regression testing. However, the existing techniques mainly focus on the reused test suite, and ignored the supplemental test cases. To solve this problem, a new dynamic prioritization method was presented for supplemental test cases by extending the usage of previous prioritization techniques. Also, its implementation in the parallel scenario was discussed. A case study was used to indicate the conclusion that the new method could improve the effectiveness of the supplemental test cases.
