A further discussion of metastable phase and viscosity for alloy melts

Abstract: On the basis of the work about metastable phase in alloy melts, the characteristics for it are analyzed further as follows. Firstly, the three temperature zones in the melts are brought forward. Secondly, the concept of “multistate" exists in the ambiguous zone. Thirdly, the absence of single phase zone is possible for some alloy melts. Fourthly, the viscosity theory on the fluid cluster diffusion proposed by EinsteinDebye (η∝kT/(df.D)) is no longer applicable in the supercooled region.
