Limit analysis of plane axial symmetry problem for Coulomb materials

Abstract: The velocity field in upperbound analysis of plane axial symmetry problem for Coulomb materials is established according to the normal plastic flow rule. The general solving method of internal energy dissipation rate in terms of bulk stain rate in deforming region is presented. The axial symmetry permeation problem of thickwalled cylinder is solved and the permeating force field is obtained. The stability of thickwalled cylinder under permeating force is analyzed with upperbound method and the upperbound solution is found the same as the true solution.
