Abstract:

The prediction about waterburst fault is one of the most important theories and technologically difficult problems during subsea tunnel construction. To predict the location and scale accurately can provide a basis and guide for grouting in advance. The location and scale of the F44 waterburst fault were ascertained through TSP in the subsea tunnel of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay. The F44 fault was gravely affected by structure, and the surrounding rock broke. The intensity of rock mass is low, and it is very difficult to keep selfstabilization. So it has high waterburst haze. The TSP prediction can provide the basis for grouting in advance. Finally, the TSP was used to check the surrounding rock after grouting. The result indicated that globality of surrounding rock improved. The intensity has improved 19.1%, the density has improved 3.6%, the passion rate has been reduced 7.1%, the VP has improved 0.8%, and the VP/VS ratio has been reduced 7.1%. The results indicate that the moisture content of the F44 fault has been reduced, and the joint has been filled. The prediction methods before grouting, the check methods after grouting and the above waterburst fault have certain drawing lessons and guiding significance for similar projects.
