Simulation framework for the macro-operation characteristics of global energy interconnection

Abstract: The macroscopic operating features(MOF)of the Global Energy Interconnection(GEI)will be affected by many different reasons. The inter-connection between the dominant factors that influenced the operation of the GEI were analyzed and the importance of the quantitative interpretation of the physical mechanism was discussed. The basic scheme of the simulation method for the MOF of the GEI was designed and several research propositions were discussed. A blue print of the future simulation software for the dynamic characteristic of the GEI was established using a multi-pass energy flow network.
