Moreover, a new Web access approach was presented, which could bind SOAP to the constrained application protocol (CoAP). Experimental results showed that the SOAP/CoAP binding was an effective unified Web access approach to RFID networks, which had much lower network overhead compared with traditional SOAP/HTTP binding approach.
